Statement WCAG 2.1 AA target

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use GigPlux, regardless of ability or the tools they rely on. This statement explains what we are aiming for, what is already in place, where we still fall short, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.

Commitment

Accessible by default, not by exception.

We treat accessibility as part of building software well, not as an add-on. Our goal is that people using keyboards, screen readers, magnification, or reduced-motion settings can navigate our site and products and get the same information as everyone else.

The standard we target

WCAG 2.1 level AA.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA across our website. This is an ongoing target rather than a finished certification. As we add pages and product features, we test against these guidelines and fix what falls short.

What's implemented

Already in place.

No. 01

Keyboard navigation

Every interactive element, including the navigation menus and dropdowns, can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, without needing a mouse.

No. 02

Visible focus states

Focused links and controls have a clear visible indicator, so people navigating by keyboard always know where they are on the page.

No. 03

Semantic HTML

Pages use proper landmarks, a single main heading, logical heading order, and descriptive link text, so assistive technology can present structure accurately.

No. 04

Reduced-motion support

If your system is set to reduce motion, we honor that preference and tone down animations and transitions across the site.

Being honest

Known limitations.

We are early and still improving. These are areas we know need work.

  • Some newer pages have not yet been tested with every screen reader and browser combination.
  • A few decorative animations may still be more prominent than we would like for some users.
  • Our products are in active development, and their in-app accessibility is still maturing alongside the features.
  • Third-party fonts load from an external provider, which we are reviewing for resilience.

We treat these as open items, not acceptable gaps. If you hit a barrier we have not listed, please tell us so we can prioritize it.
